Voice
Eva is experienced in providing assessment and therapy for muscle tension dysphonia, vocal fold nodules, vocal fold polyps, vocal fold paresis, chronic cough, psychogenic disorders and physical changes resulting from aging. Being aisinger herself she’s extremely passionate about the voice and promoting good vocal care.
Auditory processing disorder
Having exemplary experience working with children who have auditory processing difficulties, Eva understands the importance of effective auditory processing skills for learning. As well as experiencing difficulty listening in the classroom environment, children with auditory processing difficulties are often unable to discriminate the sounds in spoken words, which impacts on their ability to learn to read and spell.
Dyslexia
Even with good teaching, dyslexia can be frustrating for children and parents alike — resulting in persisting difficulties learning to read and spell. In her roles as aispeech pathologist working both in schools and in private practice, Eva educates and supports teachers who work with these children, as well as providing one-on-one therapy.
Speech
Experienced in the assessment and intervention of speech delays and disorders including phonological processes, articulation errors and dyspraxia, Eva can guide children to better speech.
Language
Eva’s experience also covers working with children who have language delays which includes receptive language (what we understand), expressive language (the language we use to express ourselves) and pragmatic language (our social use of language including body language, eye contact and social skills).
Stutter
Successfully delivering the Lidcombe Program for young children and providing therapy for smooth speech techniques for older children and adolescents, Eva has extensive experience guiding children and adolescents who stutter.
